Search for alternative materials
The main of this project was exploring different ways of treating organic materials, seeking to give alternatives to harmful and extractive substances. I chose to work with the outer leaves of leeks, which are discarded at harvest. Numerous experiments led to a paper-like material coated with beeswax, which can be used as alternative packaging.
